Who am I you are asking. First of all, my name is David Nick. I live in Minnesota, and since 1994 I have worked in Information Technology as anything from a bench level repair guy, network installer, Network/Sys Admin, Software Configuration Manager, to finally deciding once and for all that Software Development was where I needed to be.

I recently finished my first college degree in Liberal Arts, and now I am adding that Science portion to my skills portfolio.  I should be wrapped up with all of my formal schooling in less than 2 years. What a journey this has been.

I am currently married, and my wife and I have our first child.

Balancing work (school is work), marriage, parenting, hobbies, and social time is a daunting task for any one, let alone a programmer. BUT IT IS DO-ABLE!

And there ya have it in a brief nutshell. I have many other interests of course, and with time you will hear all about them I’m sure.
